Hi friends! My name is Frankie Gennaro and I am the founder and owner of Aura Spa. I am committed to making my clients feel as welcomed and comfortable as possible, so I figured I’d give a brief introduction of myself so we can get familiar with each other! 

 

As far back as I can remember, I’ve had a passion for beauty and makeup. I loved learning about different techniques of how to enhance your own natural beauty. At 15, I discovered the true power of makeup when I discovered how confident it made me feel. For the first time in my life, I really enjoyed my natural facial features and thought I looked genuinely beautiful. At 18, of course, it was only natural for me to go to college to study makeup application. I chose to go to Durham College for Cosmetic Techniques and Management where I spent 2 years practicing my makeup skills and learning about the magic of skincare. I fell in love with skincare techniques and all the science that goes with it so after finishing CTMG and getting my first diploma, I went back to get my second diploma in Esthetician and Spa Management. 

 

Now, I’ve always loved colours, maximalism, sparkles, hearts, and glitter and I felt that it was only proper to open a spa that offers that exact same aesthetic. I never wanted my spa to feel sterile or boring and I always wanted my clients to have a full, fun, exciting, and relaxing experience. I want each of my clients to feel like they’re walking into an old friend’s house and leave feeling beautiful and confident. Offering treatments such as facials, waxing, extractions, makeup application, and much more, everyone who steps foot into Aura Spa is promised an experience that will leave them feeling as amazingly beautiful as they truly are.
